Plan Processor

Hantz Financial Services is looking for a Plan Processor to support its various financial planning offices. Plan Processors are responsible for inputting and analyzing financial information, working with financial consultants to customized Hantz Financial Services – Client Financial Plans, Planning Reviews and Client Deliverables. Plan Processors receive practical real time experience, extensive training and resources working one-on-one with Financial Consultants. Additionally, providing support, training and guidance related to the compliance requirements and documentations of all client deliverables.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Work with Financial Advisors to prepare client presentations and financial plans
  • Process client information to generate financial schedules with planning software
  • Run and analyze “what if “ scenarios
  • Create client review documents in Excel
  • Track and manage client reviews
  • Binding financial plans for delivery
  • Track open plans and ensure turnaround time is within acceptable limits
  • Collect ADR’s and close out plans in Enterprise
  • Recognize and manage credit card and ACH problems
  • Manage/Track charge back and compliance holds for the offices
  • Track activity and measure office activity versus office goals
  • Participate in case studies
  • Resolve complex financial planning related issues
  • All other tasks assigned

Education/Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic database skills and knowledge sufficient to create documents, spreadsheets and business related correspondence;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize workload, meeting deadlines while managing multiple tasks;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, effective and clear to complex compliance rules and regulations;
  • Perform administrative tasks; effectively gather relevant information and identify key issues;
  • Attention to detail; enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to obtain required licenses within one year of employment based on career path; Series 7, Series 66 and Michigan Life, Accident & Health, Property & Casualty and Variable Contracts Insurance Licenses (or) Enrolled Agent/CPA and Series 65
